Mike joined Bishop Building in May 2019 as Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing tendering and project management and identifying and managing commercial risks for the business. Mike has 30 years of experience in senior management and governance positions. Having trained as a mechanical engineer his most recent role was General Manager for one of New Zealand’s largest engineering companies. In this role he was responsible for overseeing operational and strategic outcomes for the business as well as managing several large-scale construction projects. Mike is also an active director on two boards with a strong focus on health and safety.
