Our number one priority is making sure that everyone goes home at night and they get to come back to work the next morning with the confidence that they feel safe in the workplace. As a reflection of our commitment to safety we have obtained high accreditation status with both Impac PREQUAL and ISNetworld.

With most of our work being carried out in high hazard plants and the need to meet ever increasing statutory and client requirements, having a well-trained workforce is a must. We qualify our staff to NZQA accredited training such as working at heights and confined space entry as well as carrying out targeted internal training for the safe use of products and equipment.

With a dedicated Health and Safety coordinator on our team we take a hands-on approach to monitor all of our work activities ensuring high levels of staff engagement. Together with regular staff safety meetings, safety audits and inspections we ensure everyone’s safety. Another important aspect is making sure that lessons are learnt from any incidents or near misses and we realise that reporting is important in helping to prevent repeat events.

We recognise that one of the highest risks for the business are our subcontractors. We set the same high expectations for health and safety for our contractors and subcontractors that we do with our employees by ensuring they come to the work site with the right competencies and training ready for work.
